The value of Metatron Hunter in the assessment of gastric cancer

Gastric cancer remains one of the most serious medical problems in many countries of the world. Most researchers working on the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer conclude that timely and early diagnosis can facilitate cancer treatment and improve patient prognosis.

For decades, radiological and endoscopic examinations have remained the main methods for diagnosing gastric cancer. The main disadvantage of these investigation methods is that they cannot obtain a picture of the thick layer of the gastric wall and therefore cannot obtain more accurate data on the extent of the tumor's invasion of the gastric wall, i.e., the stage of the tumor process in the preoperative period. The first attempts to determine the stage of gastric tumors were made when investigation methods such as computed tomography (CT), transabdominal ultrasound (US), and more recently NLS investigation entered clinical practice. In today's medicine, NLS investigation may become an important method for diagnosing celiac disease, as it is very simple, accessible, and noninvasive. However, given that this investigation method has been used in medical practice since the late 1990s, the amount of published literature on the potential of NLS in the diagnosis of solid organs is still insufficient.

A fairly well-defined method of NLS gastric examination has been developed, and some signs of NLS cancer, benign and malignant gastric ulcers have been described. Attempts to establish a staging classification of gastric cancer by NLS investigations have resulted in a fairly high diagnostic accuracy (75.8%), mainly due to the diagnosis of an early stage of the neoplastic process. According to some authors, the NLS of Metatron Hunter offers some indisputable opportunities for staging gastric tumors located mainly in the distal area of the stomach.

According to most researchers, until recently, the NLS of Metatron Hunter was mainly used as a method to determine the extent of cancer spread, to identify metastases and malignant invasion outside the stomach, in other words, the NLS investigation method was able to diagnose gastric tumors even in the presence of the disease.
